3M Polyester Tape 8429 is composed of a heavy duty polyester backing with an aggressive, versatile rubber adhesive.

The polyester backing in strong yet thin making it ideal for demanding applications that require high tensile strength without bulk.

The tack level of the rubber adhesive allows it to attach quickly and securely to many surfaces.

The yellow color makes the tape visible for splicing applications where the splice needs to be detected.
