CAF 8 is a one component silicone elastomer which cures at room temperature :
- Acetic.
- Flowable.
- Red.
Features :
- Hardness : 34 Shore A
- Modulus at 100 % elongation : 0,8 MPa
- Tensile strength : 2 MPa
- Elongation at break : 250 %
- Tear strength : 6 kN/m
- Temperature range ( in continuous ) : -55 °C / +275 °C
Applications :
CAF 8 is mainly used in sealing and bonding applications for domestic appliances and industrial applications :
It is notably used for:
- sealing of steam chambers for electrical iron bases
- sealing of clad heating elements
- coating of conveyor belts
