Bonderite O-PC 100 is a water-based coating giving exceptional corrosion protection.
It will provide protection of 500 – 1,000 hours ASTM B117 salt spray when applied at 50-70 microns over zinc phosphate pre-treated metal, or over shot-blasted steel substrates.
This high performance anti-corrosive coating is based on a copolymer of vinyl acrylic and polyvinylidene chloride, with a combination of carbon black pigment, fillers and an anti-corrosive pigment.
It is also lead-free, free of toxic chromate anti-corrosive pigments, and using Bonderite O-PC 100 avoids the hazard of fire and exposure to harmful solvents.
Especially suited to the requirements of the motor industry, this product meets the highest automotive corrosions tests, for components which cannot withstand the baking processes of powder or electrophoretic coating.
In addition, makers of rubber-metal anti-vibration mountings, components with temperature sensitive seals, such as propeller shafts, steering racks, shock absorbers, etc, will also benefit from Bonderite O-PC 100, as the air dry, force dry coating means that expensive stoving processes can be reduced, or even eliminated.
