ACTIVATOR 3140 is a catalyst that speeds up polymerisation of anaerobic resins, decreasing the time these adhesives take to set.
- Commission assembled parts sooner.
- Adhesives set 2 to 5 times faster.
- Achieve the desired mechanical performance more rapidly.
- Can be used in temperatures below 10°C.
- Improves setting time on STAINLESS STEEL and treated metals.
- Enables affixing of some plastics (preliminary testing is required).
- Approved for food industries, nuclear plant and aeronautics applications.
Applications :
Speeds up polymerisation.
Recommended for:
- PASSIVATED surfaces: treated, cadmium-plated, anodised and chrome-plated surfaces, etc.
- INACTIVE surfaces: stainless steel, aluminium, silver, gold, plastics, etc.
Can be used on ACTIVE surfaces to achieve very rapid setting.
Can also be used when:
- backlash is significant (approx 0.5 mm).
- the application temperature is below 10°C.
